The RDC-RISC at the Transfer Festival in Frankfurt

The big RISC Transfer Festival took place on April 25, 2024. Under the motto "Bridging the Gap - How do science and practice come together?", interested participants were offered a varied program with practical workshops and project insights.

Relevant research results from the RISC, presented in innovative transfer formats, were communicated in a variety of ways at the welcoming venue. As the Research Data Centre of the RISC, we presented the interactive section of our website:

• The interactive indicator system we developed, which visualizes the data from the pilot study of the German Social Cohesion Panel (SCP) and makes it generally accessible online, was met with great interest by visitors.
  
  
• Another interactive form of transfer is our "milieu calculator"(available in german): a Bremen RISC research project used the data from the SCP to roughly categorize the German population into 8 milieus, which differ from each other in certain ways. Here, too, there was lively participation and engaged discussions about the results.
