The Research Data Center of the RISC fulfills a variety of functions:

Data production and data management

• Coordination of the longitudinal study Cohesion Panel
• Advice for RISC data collecting projects
• Archiving of all quantitative RISC data
• Archiving of qualitative RISC data at Qualiservice
• Development of a data management concept
   

 
Monitoring

• Data analysis and regular reporting

 
Data Portal

• Creation of a metadata database of all empirical data collected in the RDC-RISC
• Dissemination of the quantitative data collected in the RDC-RISC
• Provision of central indicators of social cohesion
