RISC data sets
A variety of qualitative and quantitative data is collected in the more than 100 part projects, including five central data infrastructures:
The Cohesion Panel
Representative, annual repeat survey of private households in Germany
Subject matter: values and attitudes, social relations, practices, infrastructures, discourses and socio-economic status
The Regional Panel
Quantitative personal survey in cooperation with 12 municipalities in four German states
Participation: RISC sections Bielefeld, Göttingen, Halle and Hanover
Subject: Processes of cohesion in different social spaces (large cities, medium-sized cities, rural communities)
The Qualipanel
Repeated narrative interviews with >90 people from different milieus and their households in five regions of Germany
The Social Media Observatory
Data from social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, but also keyword-based tweet collections
Subject: Activities of various public spokespersons, including media offerings, political parties
The InRa employee survey in federal authorities
Survey of employees of the Customs, the Federal Employment Agency and the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.
Subject: Attitudes towards ethnic diversity and ethnic groups in Germany, political attitudes and own experiences of discrimination
