The Qualitative Panel project is a qualitative longitudinal study with several waves of data collection (2021; 2024). It conducts interviews in 90 different households across Germany. It explores which explicit or implicit attitudes toward social cohesion can be found in different status groups and milieus, and how this is reflected in their lifestyle practices. In addition, the study examines the social relationships, networks, and institutional contexts in which cohesion-strengthening or weakening practices are exercised, experienced, or observed.
